»DJ Everybody, the democratic happening«

TArtist Betty Stürmer alias Betty Party and computer-nerd Otaku present in spl.07 their multimedia-installation of DJ Everybody – a hybrid participative happening between music, art and club-culture. At brot.undspiele gallery they show a collection of acoustic life recordings and a slide-show plus editioned reproductions of original DJ Everybody lineup lists as well as an unbelievable number of DJ-portraits from 15 years.

At the opening a two-and-a-half hour DJ Everybody-Lifesnippets-Recording-Party-Short-Happening starts in the exhibition. This is an open call to everybody: Come by with your records, cd‘s or mp‘s – open mike – playtime 15 min.!

Also this happening will be recorded and photographed and maybe you will be a visible or acoustic part of the next DJ Everybody exhibition. DJ Everybody gives no stylistic guidelines on how you use your 15 min.  Variety vs. monotony. Diversity as a conceptual-artistic principle and practice, combined with a pleasant sound volume, that‘s DJ Everybody.
